Human Capital for Innovation & Society
In today’s economy and society, human capital is our greatest asset. Due to digitisation and rapid technological evolutions, work becomes more complex and skills needs change continuously. On the other hand, a shortage of educated people threatens to slow down these developments. 11% of the 15 to 34-year olds in Flanders are low-skilled and 13% of the 15 to 34-year-olds in Belgium are not in employment, education or training. Among Belgian adults aged between 25 and 64, only 8.5% have recently participated in education or training.
How can we address these key challenges today? And how will we live, learn and work in 2050?
We advise policy makers and stakeholders in the fields of education, training, work, and innovation on how to strengthen organisations and equip people with future-proof skills to make and keep them employable in an evolving context. Also check our poster for an overview of our services in this field.
